Shipping policy
Transfer of Title and Risk of Loss
All purchases from Board & Bloom are made pursuant to a shipment contract classified strictly as "FOB Shipping Point" or "FOB Origin".
-
Ownership of the goods and the risk of loss transfer entirely to the buyer the exact moment the package is handed over to the shipping carrier.
-
Board & Bloom's liability and delivery obligation end completely once the goods are loaded at our facility.
-
The buyer assumes all transit risks from the point of shipment forward.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Board & Bloom accepts zero liability for lost, stolen, or misplaced packages.
-
Once the carrier scans the package at our facility, you are the legal owner of the shipment.
-
If a package is lost in transit or stolen from your porch after being marked "Delivered," you must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier or your insurance provider. We will not issue refunds or replacements for stolen goods.
Damaged Merchandise
Because the buyer assumes all risk during transit under FOB Shipping Point terms, Board & Bloom is not responsible for any damage that occurs while the item is in the carrier's possession.
-
If your charcuterie board is damaged during transport, the buyer must handle all damage claims.
-
You must work directly with the carrier to recover your loss.
Shipping Delays
Board & Bloom is not liable for delayed deliveries. Estimated shipping times are strictly estimates. We do not issue shipping refunds for delays caused by carrier volume, weather, logistical failures, or international customs processing.
Address Errors
The buyer is completely responsible for inputting the correct shipping address at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an insufficient or incorrect address, you are legally responsible for all secondary shipping charges required to resend the item. If the package is delivered to the wrong address because of a customer input error, Board & Bloom is not liable for recovery or replacement.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For all international orders outside of Canada, the buyer is strictly responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees. We will not falsify customs documents to lower your tax liability. If you refuse to pay customs fees and the package is abandoned or returned, you forfeit your right to a refund.
